Garden Rotini Bake


  • 1 lb. Hamburger
  • 1 lb. Hot Pork Sausage
  • 4 – 15 oz. Cans Tomato Sauce
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Italian Seasoning
  • 1 large Green Bell Pepper
  • 2 – 3 Large Fresh Mushrooms
  • 2 Cups Shredded Italian Blend Cheese
  • 10oz Garden Rotini Pasta


  • Large Crock-pot
  • Cooking Spoon
  • Large Skillet
  • 13×9 Baking Pan
  • Spatula
  • Sharp Knife

What to Do:

  • Brown Hamburger and Sausage, drain, rinse thoroughly and set to the side
  • Dice up green pepper and toss into crock-pot
  • Slice up mushrooms and toss into crock-pot
  • Empty all 4 cans of sauce into crock-pot
  • Season to taste using garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning
  • Allow to cook on low for at least 4 hours to allow the mushrooms and green peppers to soften
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Cook pasta according to package directions
  • Drain pasta and pour into 13×9 baking pan~ Spoon sauce over pasta
  • Spread cheese over pasta
  • Bake until cheese is thoroughly melted and starting to turn a light golden brown
  • Let set for 5-10 minutes to cool
